There are times, as a painter, that you just do not feel like painting. Yet you still have the need to be creative. This can create a creative block – where you can feel that you are just not producing anything new or different. When I felt this way a few weeks ago I started a new project; “The Flower Pot Project”. My Wife had collected 15 terra cotta pots about 18 months ago, cleaned then up, she washed them & put them away in a cupboard with the idea of making Flower Pot Bread one day. Well I waited and waited. I even looked up Flower Pot Bread on the internet because I was sure this was something that she had just created in her mind & that it was never going to be a real thing. Anyway months go by and still no Flower Pot Bread and I was feeling low creatively and wanted a new challenge. So I stole her flower pots & Started to paint them. Here are some of the results. You can see them in person at Atelier Prag 61 Art Open House November 5th & 6th, at Prags Boulevard 61, 1. sal Copenhagen, DK. 11-17pm each day.
